Design and engineering, from one person.

I'm Luan, a design engineer. I draw the interface and write the code that ships it, so nothing is lost between the two.

Product interfaces

Dashboards, ERPs, and the dense screens most portfolios leave out.

Front-end architecture

Next.js and TypeScript, on a codebase I have carried past 400,000 lines.

Shipped, not handed off

The design and the running code come from the same pair of hands.

One library you can read. Three platforms I can only describe.

better-intl

Open source

An internationalization framework for Next.js: typed keys, colocated translation files, and no wrapper around your app. It runs this site in three languages.

Client platforms, under NDA. I can tell you what they do and how they were built, but I cannot show you a screen.

Multi-tenant communication ERP

Built the front end of a multi-tenant platform: tenant isolation, caching strategy, and an architecture that holds up as clients are added.

  • Next.js
  • TypeScript
  • Tailwind CSS

Church management ERP

Led front-end development across more than 400,000 lines and many modules, keeping complex business workflows shippable as the product grew.

  • Next.js
  • TypeScript
  • Tailwind CSS
  • shadcn/ui

Academic ERP for a medical university

Full-stack build of an academic platform, end to end, with the domain rules and data integrity that a university's records demand.

  • Next.js
  • TypeScript
  • Tailwind CSS
  • Drizzle ORM
  • PostgreSQL

Three years at one company, in three roles.

I joined as an intern and was given the front end. The bars below are the real spans.

Loopvet / Loopscape

  1. Front-end intern

    Mar 2023 — Jun 2023

Built an internal task management app in React and Firebase, and took on wider responsibility within three months.

  2. Junior front-end developer

    Jun 2023 — Feb 2025

Migrated a legacy React 16 app to a modern TypeScript stack, built the company site from scratch in Next.js, and shipped a Fastify service for PDF generation. The user base doubled over this stretch.

  3. Mid-level front-end developer

    Feb 2025 — Present

Core platform features, complex forms and validation, API integration, and the front-end architecture decisions underneath them.
